Too hard / too late?
 Many people think it's too hard to abstain from sex for so long. It will be tough, especially when you're with the person you love and it's only natural that your sexual desires will be strong at those times.
But the problem is, our desires don't always know what's best for us. That is why your brain is there to keep those desires under control and to protect you.
It is possible!
At first it will be a struggle, but gradually with time, determination, avoiding temptations, penance, good friends and especially by the grace of God, it becomes easier. You will then experience the liberating joy of self-mastery and a purified heart. This will increase your capacity to love which in turn leads you to more experiences of happiness.
Some people have defeatist attitudes when it comes to self-mastery saying it's not realistic and for most people it's impossible. Don't believe them! It is possible for anyone who wants it.
Is it too late for me?
Other people who have been sexually active in the past now regret what they have done and wish they had waited. They might feel like they're somehow 'tainted' and that it's too late for them.
That's not true! Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Make the decision and then do what you need to do to change the way you live and start living a healthier life of love and respect from now on.
Chastity is a way of living that can lead us all to real love, no matter what we've done in the past. It's where your heart is now that counts.
